The top dunkers competing in the new Nike+ Hyperdunk earning the top spot to rep Los Angeles in July. This Dunk Showcase did not disappoint. With the two top people earning the highest vertical during the trial experiences were chosen to Judge on the Nike+ Dunk panel along with a few local Celebs. Before the Ballin' got underway,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], TDE recording artist ScHoolboy Q took to the court blessing us with a couple hits off his Album "Habits Contradictions". I'm a fan of Q's Music,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], nothing like watching your hometown represented musically. Q pictured down below rocking the Nike LeBron 9 South Beach and Nike LeBron Hoody. Soon after the performance it was time to get down to business.
The evolution of the Nike+ Hyperdunk is performance at it's best. This colorway was used on court as well as the time trials at the Nike+ experience. I got the chance to try a pair on for a bit. Not bad at all, I am not much for the hyperdunks of the past just because it's not a silhouette I rock regularly. Now looking at the new design not only is the Nike+ Hyperdunk a performance God with the Flywire technology and basketballspecific Lunarlon cushioning,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it looks good on feet. JUS FLY, Reemix, Young Hollywood, Air Dogg, and Jonsey gave it their all on the court. The Winner Justin Darlington aka JUS FLY blew the judges away with his acrobatical cart wheel dunk! The crowd went crazy when all the participants did their thing. ESPN was on scene capturing the entire event. I was honored to be asked to attend the event to get the Wolf Report first hand.
