Arencibia says he was giving "way too much" of himself,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], thanked fans who supported him and added that he was "praying for the others that hate."
Earlier this month, Arencibia lashed out at Canadian analysts Dirk Hayhurst and Gregg Zaun. Batting .219 this season, Arencibia has made five errors, allowed 34 stolen bases and 10 passed balls.
