New Running Shoes
These ones ARE mesh on top. it's wonderful stuff - I never used to be able to bear to wear closed-in-shoes in the summertime,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but your feet breathe wonderfully in mesh runners and cotton socks, so my exercising is easy! The only hassle is if it rains (squelch squelch). and yes, I have quite wide feet,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], with a small bunion on one side (ick) so I need wide shoes. These ARE supposed to be 'wide' but I'm wondering if I should have got a size larger and gone with a 9-1/2. The shoeshop guy was very friendly and seemed to know what he was doing,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but he tried to put me into 8-1/2 shoes and of course they were WAY too small! So he fetched me nines instead. I normally wear a 9.
I just bought a pair of Sauconys as well,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and had the same problem. I went for a 4-mile run,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and about 2 miles out I noticed my heels hurting. I came back home,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], took my shoes off and blood was soaked through my socks and even into the back of the shoe!
I bought these at a running store and was 'professionally fitted' for them. but I think my feet tend to swell up, and are a little on the wide side even though the guy told me they're not wide.
