Mercanti, 45, is on trial facing five charges, including grievous bodily harm and assault against Ms Kingdon.

She said he later "king hit'' her in the face, knocking out one tooth and leaving two others loose.
"I was just in shock . I was freaking out,'' she said.
Mercanti's brother took Ms Kingdon to the hospital,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], where she had told the doctor she fell down some stairs because that was the lie they told the children.
Mercanti was jailed again in December 2008 and when he was released they took a family trip to Queensland that was "amazing''.
"It was the best the relationship had ever been,'' Ms Kingdon said.
She said shortly after,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the couple discussed allowing other people into their sexual lives because she wanted to keep him happy.
She said they attempted a foursome with another couple in a spa but she was not ready so she watched him with another woman instead, which left her feeling hurt.
