Supreme Court Place 3 runoff

Supreme Court Place 3 runoff
Ft Worth district Judge, And my pick in the supreme court Place 3 race, Debra Lehrmann (marketing campaign photo).
around my recent campaign for Congress in Texas' 32nd Congressional District,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I largely kept my mouth shut on contested primary races like the Governor's race and the race for supreme court, internet site 3. initial Legislator Rick Green will face Ft. Worth District Court Judge Debra Lehrmann in the runoff for supreme court, page 3 on April 13th. the writing of my reply follows:
I received your impression of Rick Green's page. I won't try to persuade you to convince you,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I will only give out my opinion in the Supreme Court Place 3 race. I have had the pleasure of hearing each of the 6 candidates for this location live and in person, With having met several on larger number of occassions. bejesus, Jim Moseley of Dallas stopped by any similar polling location where I was on election daythat was kind of cool.
physically,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I voted for Rick unexpected. He entered dead last. has not been even close. But I met/saw him on several occassions at Dallas events during my own campaign. One of my chief advisors actually supports Rick Green b/c of his charter school openings.
I will be supporting Judge Debra Lehrmann in the runoff and have offered my time to her campaign during the next a few months until the runoff election. Between these two candidates there is not any choice in my mind. In this opinion, Rick Green is simply not qualified for the positioning. I realize that the current Chief Justice had no prior Judicial experience prior to getting elected to the Court. within the, I cannot stress enough the significance of having a prior judicial record and record of writing opinions and voting a conservative record before being passed up from District Court to Appeals Court and finally Supreme Court.
Former Texas Legislator Rick Green was the top votegetter in the Republican Primary (voice message photo).
Green has no experience in the Judiciary. I simply cannot accept a fellow as candidate for top court just because he works for Wallbuilders. even so, I have seen quite a few of our fellow Christians who take stances that are illogical and not based on the Rule of Law but based on biblical arguments. it is not to bash the Bible, But to say that in court, Arguments should be based on LAW, Not the publication of Leviticus, Et al. Green simply won't have a record of strictly applying LAW.
There are two recent instances where Democratic District Judges have issued rulings knocking over the State's marriage amendment and capital punishment,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Saying the State's jobs on each were unconstitutional. this became not based on LAW, But on personal choice.
I dread equally as much a Republican making a ruling and writing an opinion based on Bible scriptures as a Democrat issuing an opinion where she claims to have "make out the print on a grocery sack, No kidding on that one! Rulings must made based on LAW and Green has never written a single ruling.
I'm quite intent on this issue. And I have had the personal experience now in my own race of having CHRISTIANS asking questions about abortion that are GROSSLY inappropriate questions for a Federal candidate. moment. They base their questions on one of two things: 1.) lack of knowledge, to 2.) course. indicates,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], By maintaining things as they are on Roe v. wade, non-profit, Supposedly Christian companies can keep pumping Christians and churches for contributions, which experts claim sustains their organization but does NOTHING to end or reduce abortions.
Appeals Court Judge Rick surprising was my pick in the Republican Primary, But failed to place in the top 2 to entitled to the April 13th runoff (campaign photo).
I want Judges could possibly WELL DEFINED records. I want to elect Judges to appeals Courts with LONG records bereft of judicial activism prior to their meeting to an appeals Court. And I prefer that Justices on the supreme court of Texas have LONG records on APPEALS Courts prior to ascending to the supreme court. in the end won't get a Justice in Place 3 with a long appellate record, Lehrmann at least is made with a long record on the bench. Green fails to.
and also, shade had some "factors" Toward the end of his time in the Legislature which I believe disqualify him from further service in public places office. We have huge amounts of potential candidates qulified for this position. We do not need to settle for one who is unproven ON the bench and has proven quite unethical in the Legislature.
Thank you for taking the time to send me the notification. And like I agreed, I don't mean to session. this is just my opinion, And if yours is still that Rick Green should be on the supreme court, I encourage you to vote your prosecutions. But i wouldn't agree, Regardless of what quantity of money he spent or who his employer is.
