LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles Dodgers rookie Yasiel Puig is out of the starting lineup for the second straight day because of a sore left hip,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].

Manager Don Mattingly says he could use Puig in Sunday's game against Colorado if needed,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but he'd like to let the Cuban star rest if possible.

He was held out of the lineup on Saturday while still nursing the hip injury that was the result of him crashing into the outfield wall at Colorado on July 3.
