hanhdxc754 Phil Jackson is getting back into basketball in a significant way. The Hall of Fame coach has agreed to advise the Detroit Pistons in their search for a new coach,Monster Beats.

“Phil Jackson is a friend and one of the best minds in the business,” Pistons owner Tom Gores said,Beats by dre, . “We are thrilled to have him as an adviser as we make some very important decisions for this franchise. (Team president) Joe (Dumars) and I discussed this and he and I are in full agreement that this is a great opportunity.”

One of Gores' business partners made it clear that the Pistons aren't adding Jackson to their management team,Billiga Beats By Dr Dre.
“Phil’s role is to advise Joe,Beats By Dr Dre, Tom and the ownership team,Beats Sverige, not to assume a formal position inside the Pistons organization,” said Mark Barnhill, a partner in Platinum Equity, Gores’ private equity firm.
The Pistons fired Lawrence Frank after a 29-53 finish this season.
Jackson is rumored to be interested in taking a front-office position if he decides to end his retirement. Reports last week said the Toronto Raptors will make a play for him, and Jackson will listen to their pitch.
